Mission

Who are we and why do we do this?

Bulli Surf Club Castelsardo was born in October 2013, the result of the passion andenthusiasm of local surfers.

Prior to our official founding, we had already started initiatives to promote surfing and other water sports, with a strong emphasis on the values of respect for the environment and the community.

We firmly believe that true strength lies not in the individual, but in the collective.

Since our inception, the goal of Bulli Surf Club Castelsardo has been to grow and contribute to the betterment of Castelsardo’s community life in any way possible.

We ask a fundamental question:
How can we make the beach and the town of Castelsardo even better places?

Our mission is to turn our passion for surfing into a vehicle for positive change, for our beloved city and all who visit.

We want to join forces to create a welcoming, sustainable and inclusive environment where every person can have unforgettable experiences and contribute to a better community.

Our main activity is the dissemination and promotion of Sports.

Environmental Awareness

Teaching children and young people the wonder of a clean world and the good deeds to build it: sensitivity to environmental issues should be cultivated from an early age, through daily practices as well as fun school activities.

We believe that, even in the youngest children, understanding environmental issues is indispensable for them to see themselves as the tools for defending the environment in which they enjoy and play sports.

Informational Events

The discussion meetings on topics that are always topical are resumed, after the interventions on Cyberbullying in previous years, held in collaboration with the Postal Police and the Castelsardo Lions, two events are planned for 2022 for the series ” The Dangers of the Net”

An event will be dedicated to children from 11, years old this year the event will be on the topic of Sexting .

For younger children, on the other hand, from age 6 and up, again in line with ” the dangers of the net,” the title will be ” Let’s stick to the rules.”

The meetings will be held by the Tancredi Consulting Firm of Dr. Tancredi Sara assisted by Dr. Tosi Andrea; relevant institutions will also be involved.

Our rules

At Bulli Surf Club Castelsardo, in addition to the fundamental rules of surfing that we teach in our lessons and courses, we strongly believe in a broader respect that goes beyond simple precedence:

Don’t pollute: Respect nature and the spot that welcomes you. Help us keep our habitat intact.
Respect all surfers: Greet and ask about entry and exit points from the sea, currents, rocks and channels to avoid danger.
Surfa to your level: For your safety and the safety of others, choose the right line-up for your level.
Leave room for the locals: Don’t try to position yourself more in the middle or catch more waves than them. Our surfing philosophy is to share magical moments that the sea gives us, without taking advantage of them.
Avoid drop-in: We know that mistakes can happen, but it is important that they do not cause harm to people or boards.
Be an example: Be a role model both in and out of the water. Help the younger ones, create harmony and collect the plastic you find.
Use of the leash: We teach the importance of the leash for everyone’s safety. Your safety and the safety of others is our priority.

By following these guidelines, you will help maintain a peaceful and safe environment for all surfers.

Where we are

Our base of operations is located in Castelsardo (SS), a charming village in the heart of the northern coast of Sardinia.

Offering comfortable facilities and a healthy, clean environment ideal for families, friends and couples, our Club House is located at Corso Italia 35, in the hamlet of Lu Bagnu, and overlooks Ampurias Beach, one of the most sought-after surf spots in the area.

This location is proudly awarded Blue Flag and Green Flag status, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all water activities.
